In 2004, Jan Sexton and Nancy Carnahan met through their mutual jobs as pharmaceutical representatives. Both women were moms with busy home and work lives who loved fitness. Talks with each other during the day would be about their busy schedules and the difficulty of finding time to exercise. They thought long and hard and came up with the idea to purchase thigh toners to use driving around the great State of Kansas while on cruise control. Needless to say this was a very dangerous and ineffective way to exercise.

After the thigh master debacle - Jan and Nancy realized a few things. First of all, there were women everywhere who needed a little push, or in the case of the thigh toner, a little squeeze, to get going with exercise. Secondly, they weren't the only ones who were looking for ways to stay fit without taking the time away from the family. Third, Jan and Nancy were way too dangerous in the car and needed to find a way they could work from their own homes and be their own boss. Lastly, a thigh toner may cause bruising.

Using their "spare" time they set about coming up with fit-a-gogo, a home based business. They searched high and low for quality items that they felt could help women bring fitness into their lives, anytime. They put them together so women everywhere could learn from their mistakes and enjoy fitness anywhere. Remember fitness can be anytime, anywhere.
